The inspiration of this font design comes from the origin of Chinese obscure poetry. After ten years of darkness in the “Great Cultural Revolution", this style of obscure poetry appeared. These poets often hide in the dark in order not to be caught. They express their anger and sorrow abstractly by describing things in the nature. The origin of this school of poetry reminds me of the process of mildew. I accomplished the font design through the mold experiment.
